Velia Rosas was born in San Antonio, Texas. She is one of five children of immigrant parents. She was inspired to study law after hearing her parents history, the battle for them to obtain their legal status in the United States, and the difficulties that they faced when they started their lives in the United States. She is committed to help others in similar situations.

We practice exclusively in the area of immigration law.  Ms. Rosas has been practicing law since 2003.  She is Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  She is a member of The State Bar of Texas, American Immigration Lawyers Association, National Hispanic Professional Organization, Houston Bar Association, National Immigration Project, and Houston Association of Women Attorneys. She is also trained as a Mediator by The Institute Center of Life Labor of Mediation and Resolution of Conflicts.
